LAUDA presents new, innovative product line – LAUDA Universa

Discover a new dimension of temperature control
LAUDA

We are pleased to introduce LAUDA Universa – a new product line from LAUDA, a global market leader and innovator for precise temperature control technology. The pioneering product family combines advanced technology with improved, environmentally friendlier refrigeration technology and offers highly flexible solutions for numerous laboratory applications.

The devices have been developed based on four central pillars: customizability, performance, connectivity, and sustainability – all working together to ensure reliable, efficient, and comprehensive temperature control for modern laboratory and industrial processes.

Customizability – Modular system for diverse requirements

LAUDA Universa product line comprises the three variants – ECO, PRO and MAX – each tailored to different performance and application need. The system can be freely combined with various baths, control heads, and cooling units. Its modular design allows for easy customization according to user-specific requirements, with the added benefit of straightforward upgrades or modifications by replacing or expanding individual components.

Performance – Precise control across a wide temperature range

The new product line covers a temperature range from -90°C to 300°C, with a temperature stability of up to ±0.01 K. With heating outputs of up to 3.6 kW and cooling outputs of up to 1.6 kW, the Universa thermostats are suitable for numerous applications in research, science and industry – from basic laboratory analyses to demanding industrial processes.

Connectivity – modern and flexible control options

All Universa thermostats are equipped with USB, Ethernet and even Wi-Fi interfaces as standard, which allows them to be effortlessly integrated in existing lab systems. Using the LAUDA Command app, the devices can be controlled and monitored wirelessly via smartphone, tablet, or PC. The LAUDA.LIVE platform enables remote monitoring and maintenance, data acquisition, and automated diagnostics. The system is also ready for future upgrades involving AI-driven and automated solutions.

Sustainability – Environmentally friendly technology

The LAUDA Universa series is designed with a strong emphasis on environmental responsibility. All devices utilize natural refrigerants with low global warming potential (GWP), with refrigerant volumes strictly limited to under 100 grams. Energy efficiency is maximized through the use of inverter-controlled compressors that continuously adjust to the actual load conditions, thereby reducing power consumption and minimizing acoustic emissions. An engineered ventilation system prevents the ingress of condensate and oil vapors into electronic components, significantly improving system reliability and extending service life. To demonstrate confidence in the robustness and longevity of the platform, LAUDA provides a 5-year warranty on all Universa models.
